Our Business

EK Productions has successfully provided English instruction services for: Bouyeau Fassetts of Burlington, Vermont; the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program; and Gardener's Supply Company. EK Productions has also performed grant writing services for the University of Vermont's Center for the Study on Aging, generated position pamphlets for the Dean campaign and created Independent Degree Program courses of study for Burlington College. Currently we are focusing on assisting clients with life transition issues through -- you guessed it -- the writing process. EK Productions has developed a series of narrational explorations that can help an individual to feel anchored again and to move in a specific direction. We offer consultations in writing about your "life story" and offer ideas about what directions you should be moving towards next. Erik Kaarla also continues to provide musical instruction for guitar and bass.

Who I Am

Erik Kaarla is an English and research instructor and professional educator living in Burlington, Vermont. He has performed research, editing and writing services for Gale Group, a division of Thompson specializing in literature. Currently he designs pedagogical programs in addition to providing private instruction for students of all ages at a number of colleges. He is licensed to teach high school English in all states that have reciprocity agreements with Vermont. Currently Erik is working with clients who feel stuck and who are beginning the process of changing their life direction to something more defined and meaningful.
